• I grew up in the Chicago area and moved to Arizona in 1978 to attend college at ASU.  After receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, I returned to get my Master’s degree in Education.  In 1990, I started teaching math at a special education school and continue to teach math and science to adolescents at the Howard Gray Education Center in Scottsdale, Arizona.   

• All along, I have been interested in photography.  I have studied black and white, landscape, and digital photography.  About four years ago I received my first digital camera and my photography really progressed after that. Through constant experimentation and education, my photographs contine to evolve. 

• Exhibits include:   the Vision Gallery, the Willow House, Gold Bar Coffee Shop, Kokopelli Winery, Boyce Thompson Arboretum, and  Arizona Museum for Youth.
• Currently, on display at John Henry's  restaurant.

• Winner in a variety of online photo contests including:
  BetterPhoto, Photo-Showdown, Photo-of-the-day.com, Shutterbugs.biz, the Arizona Buzz, and Facebook photography contests.  These sites host photographers from around the world at both the amateur and professional level.

• Have displayed photos on the Kodak Screen at Time's Square in New York City.

• I recently won a local photography contest for the McDowell Sonoran Preserve in Scottsdale, Arizona. 

• Member of: East Valley Art Guild and Phoenix Art Space.
